Cowichan Valley International Student Program welcomed it’s new and returning batch of international students with a unique experience this year. Students from China, Japan, Spain, Norway, Germany, Brazil, Mexico and many others transitioned into the new year through our September Program.
Hosted in the beautiful Quw’utsun Cultural Center located in Duncan, British Columbia, the Cowichan Valley International September Program enabled students to meet other international students from different countries and experience what the Cowichan Valley and the beautiful British Columbia has to offer.
Our international students were able to learn and experience first nations culture first hand with the help of local Cowichan people within the community. In addition, our students were able to experience the beautiful city of Vancouver and took a bike to explore Stanley Park’s sea wall! Students also enjoyed hiking up Mount Tzouhalem in the Cowichan Valley and learnt how to kayak and Canoe in Cowichan Bay.
Whether our international students were new or returning, our September Program allowed many of our international students to experience Canada in a unique and genuine way that they will never forget!
